Along with receipt of Membership fees we shall be holding several fundraising activities throughout the year to raise much needed money. These will be activities agreed to by the Management Team, and together with our Marketing and Fundraising Co-ordintors and Representatives, we hope to bring several fun packed events together.
However, as a Member you will also be able to hold your own coffee morning, or jumble sale or small gathering in support of Scottie Rescue. If you do not require funding from Scottie Rescue to hold these events, all we ask is that you let us know when and where your event will take place. We will gladly place notices on our webpage and on Facebook to help encourage a wider audience. And of course, any proceeds will be warmly welcomed by the Management Team, but most importantly our Scotties.
For a bigger fundraising event, such as the hiring of a village hall, or buying in refreshments, we would require a more formal notification from you. This should include the following
- Date, time and place of event.
- Cost of the room hire.
- Budget for refreshments
- Ticket entry price
- The cost of everything and anything that will not be funded by volunteers
The Management Team may not always be in a financial position to initially support your event up front, but will consider refunding volunteers on receipt of ticket sales, or on completion of the event itself.
